Session Objective

This session challenges the way we define and measure success in gender equity.

Are traditional metrics—such as funding percentages or the number of female-led businesses—truly reflective of progress?

Or do we need new, more meaningful indicators to track systemic change?

Your response can explore whether we are measuring what really matters to women in business, what gaps exist in current frameworks, and how we can redefine success to drive real equity. Please feel free to add examples, with names excluded.

Session Goals

Identify limitations in current gender equity measurement frameworks.

  • Explore alternative success metrics that better reflect systemic progress.

  • Examine financial and leadership influence as indicators beyond representation.

  • Discuss practical solutions for businesses, investors, and policymakers to track meaningful change.

  • Define actionable next steps to advocate for improved gender equity measurement.

The above are only guidelines and every part does not need to be included.

We want to hear #yourvoice

You may add for example, current frameworks that do or do not work, tracking influence, access to networks or something else?

Thank you.
