Our Policy Business Board

 

The APPG Policy Business Board, Chaired by Kim Rowell, brings together senior leaders from across business, finance, academia, civil society and the third sector to provide grounded, real-world insight into the development of policy on equitable governance.

 

Its role is to act as a critical friend to parliamentarians, translating lived commercial experience into practical, proportionate recommendations that work for SMEs as well as larger organisations. The value of the Board lies in its cross-sector composition, ensuring policy is informed by how governance operates in practice, not theory.

 

By convening diverse voices around a shared evidence base, the APPG Business Board strengthens legitimacy, improves policy design, and accelerates adoption by aligning parliamentary intent with the realities of the UK economy.
