MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

Between Women on Boards CIC® ("WOB CIC") And Ethics Steering Committee Member ("Recipient")


Effective Date: 4th February 2025


1. Purpose

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) sets out the terms under which WOB CIC provides anonymised survey data to the Recipient for analysis, in compliance with WOB CIC’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policies.


2. Ownership of Data

All survey data provided by WOB CIC remains the sole property of WOB CIC. The Recipient acknowledges that WOB CIC holds all rights, title, and interest in the data.


3. Permitted Use

The Recipient is authorised to analyse the anonymised survey data solely for the purposes agreed with WOB CIC. The data must not be used:

  • For personal or commercial gain.

  • For any purpose outside of the scope of this agreement without prior written consent from WOB CIC.

  • Shared with any third party without explicit permission from WOB CIC.


4. Confidentiality & Data Protection

The Recipient agrees to:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of the data.

  • Ensure that all analysis respects GDPR principles and does not attempt to re-identify individuals.

  • Take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse of the data.


5. Return or Destruction of Data

Upon completion of the agreed analysis, the Recipient shall return or destroy any copies of the data in their possession as directed by WOB CIC.


6. Governing Law

This MoU shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.


7. Acceptance & Signatures

By signing below, both parties agree to the terms set out in this MoU.
